Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has provided new information about his physical condition and the approximate timing of his return to the football field.
The Poland forward suffered an ankle injury during the match against Porto in the second round of the Champions League.
"From Wednesday to Friday I was resting. On Friday, I returned to work and started the rehabilitation process. Next week it will be possible to say more, but the situation looks better than many thought.
There is no specific date for my return. It all depends on how the leg reacts. "Real Madrid? If I'm not fit, I won't force myself to play," SportoweFakty quoted Lewandowski as saying.
The match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga will take place on 28 October.
