However, Georgia continued to dominate and made a second substitution, bringing in I. Azarovi instead of L. Shengelia. In the closing stages of the match, both teams made one more substitution to freshen up the line-ups. In the 71st minute Georgian players G. Chakvetadze and Z. Davitashvili were replaced by I. Azarovi and L. Shengelia. Cyprus also made two substitutions: G. Kastanos replaced L. Loizou and D. Christofi replaced A. Kakoullis. Georgia continued to dominate the match, scoring the third goal in the 82nd minute. This was done by L. Shengelia, who increased the advantage and put the game out of reach for Cyprus. Georgia then made a fourth substitution: O. Kiteishvili was replaced by N. Kvekveskiri. In the 85th minute, when the match was coming to an end, Georgia made the last substitution, replacing K.
