Head coach of Veres Rovno Serhiy Lavrynenko has described the realities of Ukrainian football.
"Working at Veres is a serious but interesting challenge for me. We learn every day, but we have to take into account a lot of internal and external factors.
Firstly, these are the realities of Ukrainian football as such. Strength, physics, athleticism, for example, are privileged over technique, tactics, creativity. Secondly, the quality and quantity of players we have. There are no perfect players, and if they exist, they do not play in the Ukrainian Premier League. Our task is to make the most of Veres players' strengths and levelling their weaknesses. This, believe me, is not easy.
Much depends not only on the physical readiness of the player, but also on his psychological state. Additional pressure is probably the third factor. Veresk, thanks to its media and openness, is just such a place where the pressure is felt immensely. But again - these are realities, we prepare for them all the time and we have to work with them. It's normal," SportArena quoted Lavrynenko as saying.
