On 15 October LNZ players filled the October break in the Ukrainian championship with two friendlies in Odessa. Head coach Oleg Dulub said whether he was satisfied with these friendlies:

After all, in LNZ for various reasons several players were absent and therefore were not in the same physical condition as their teammates. And when we asked Chornomorets to play first with their youth squad, and then - with the main team, we agreed. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Odessians for their hospitality. Everything was organised perfectly, which is very important in the preparatory period.
We won 6-0 against the understudies, and with the base "sailors" we made peace - 1:1. Ivan Kalyuzhny scored for LNZ. The main thing is that there were no injuries, many previously injured players (Maxim Kovalev, Sergiy Rybalka, Evgeniy Banada) are close to the fighting form. After a day of rest in Cherkasy, we will start preparing for the next calendar match - against Shakhtar, which will be held in Lviv on 21 October," Dulub said.
