Defender of the national team of Ukraine summarised the results of yesterday's match of the qualifying cycle of Euro 2024 with the national team of Malta (3:1).

After our training camp, everyone remembers the second game, that's why they say that it was the game that was hard. But the game with the Macedonians was also hard.
We won 3-1 against Malta. At the end of the match we won more or less calmly. I am satisfied with the result.
Mudryk's goal? There was just a good goal from me. (Laughs). And there it was a simple matter - to score.
Mudryk was very good, he really wanted to score. It is very important for an attacking player to score and give assists. So I am very happy for him, congratulate him.
Now we have a match with Italy. I think it will be a little bit easier than our first match with the Italians in terms of atmosphere, because we will not play at their home stadium. That does play a role though. But now we are all going to clubs, so we are already thinking about clubs. And the match with Italy will be our final," Mykolenko said in a commentary to Ukrainian journalist Andriy Todos.
