Former Dnipro forward Yevhen Selezniov expressed his opinion on the discipline of footballers and communication with journalists.
"I was not without sin myself, but after my 'moments' I was doubly motivated in training and in games not to let down those who trusted me.
It's bad that somebody "distinguished themselves" at a time when the whole country is going through a war and people take it to heart. I was more surprised by the reaction of other guys on social media. At that time, it was already clear that the situation needed to be rectified, but in the end, it only got worse.
There is no point in quarreling with journalists, especially when you are wrong, having been through it yourself. We need to draw the right conclusions and move on.
Every day we have to remember what time we live in. And be happy that we still have the opportunity to do what we love thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Selezniov said.
