Guinea Football Federation vice-president Sega Diallo said that the country's national team is ready for a friendly match with Russia.
"This year a friendly match with the Russian national team is impossible - on 17 and 21 November the Guinean team has World Cup qualifying games with Uganda and Botswana. In the future, negotiations on organising a friendly match are possible.
We are open to organising matches with all member countries of the FIFA family, which includes Russia. Football is beyond politics and Guinea has excellent relations with the Russian federation. We will work together to organise a friendly between our national teams next year," Sport24 quoted Diallo as saying.
