Dnipro-1 midfielder Oleksiy Gutsulyak, who scored his team's winning goal in yesterday's 1-0 match against Dynamo Kyiv in the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship, summed up the results of the match.
Alexey Gutsulyak- We were well prepared for the game, we knew that the opponent would attack more. We went back, but took advantage of our own moment and scored a goal. Perhaps somewhere in the second half, Kyiv outplayed us, but we managed to win. The main thing for us is three points.
- Dynamo were more often in your half of the pitch, but your team calmly escaped the pressure, especially in the first half, and organised their attacks.
- Well, we are not an easy team either (Smiles). We finished the last championship in second place and we know how to get out of pressure. We played our football calmly, so there is nothing special here.
- How important were the first 10 minutes, when your team didn't allow the opposition to do anything but put pressure?
- We had a tactic to be more aggressive at first and then retreat. We did all of this, and that's why we got the result.
- The team won the fourth match in a row in the UPL. It is known that appetite comes with eating. What are the ambitions of the team?
- We are doing well, moving on from match to match. We have a tough away trip ahead of us, where we need to get maximum points.
