Girona head coach Michel Sanchez commented on his team's victory in a difficult match against Almeria.
Michelle, Getty Images- "We lost concentration in the opening minutes of the match. The first minutes were terrible, and we can't afford that. The 1-2 scoreline allowed us to get back into the game and subsequently recover from 0-2 down. Then Dovbyk's goals allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief.
I told the players that I have no complaints about the attack. We can cause problems for any opponent because we have a lot of resources. If we can concentrate under pressure after a defeat, we will win even more.
Girona's goal is to secure a place in La Liga for next season as soon as possible. Hopefully, we will raise the level as much as possible, but it is difficult for us to get points. My goal is for the team to realise that it is the hard work, day in and day out, that will bring us success," said Michel Sanchez.
