Former Ukraine national team player Andriy Polunin has revealed what he thinks about the appointment of Darijo Srna as Shakhtar Donetsk's acting head coach for a few days. Recall, yesterday it was officially announced that Bosnian specialist Marino Pušić became the Pitmen's new coach.
"And why the best coach of the tour (the UPL named Shakhtar Donetsk acting head coach Darijo Srna as the best coach of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship - ed.) has not been confirmed as the head coach on a permanent basis? He simply realises that at the first setbacks he will not stay at Shakhtar. Not in any capacity. That's the whole story with his coaching.
Srna was never going to be a coach, he was just ordered by the owner, and here the responsibility is quite different. It is easier to tell the president who to appoint and remove from the coaches. And to bear responsibility, it is just not for Srna," Polunin wrote in the social network Facebook.
