Head coach of English Sunderland Tony Mowbray spoke about the adaptation in the team of its Ukrainian newcomer - striker Nazariy Rusin.
"Rusin is no longer young, but he came to us from Ukraine and he still has problems with adaptation. In particular, he speaks almost no English. It's not easy for him, but you can see he has talent. He can penetrate to the goal and he is clever with the ball.
At some point I will be able to make Rusin part of the Sunderland squad. But nobody wants a player to just go out on the pitch - you don't just put him in the squad, you have to make him understand how we play and what we do. And it's a difficult scenario," said Mowbray.
Recall, Rusin moved to Sunderland in the early days of September from Luhansk "Zorya". Since then, he played for his team in five matches, coming out in each of these cases as a substitute. In total, the Ukrainian spent only 52 minutes on the pitch.
