FIFA approved Tonali's disqualification, it went into effect

FIFA have confirmed that they have approved the request for the suspension of Newcastle United and Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali.

It will last 10 months, it happened because of involvement in illegal betting, in particular on football.
Now the disqualification has come into force, the midfielder from today will not be able to participate in the games of the club and national team.

Tonali used to bet on matches at AC Milan, which he left this summer. For "Newcastle" he played 12 matches, scored 1 goal.

Thus the midfielder will no longer play in the season APL 2023/24. He will also miss Euro 2024, if the Italian national team will go there.
