In the long-awaited Premier League match at the legendary London Stadium, West Ham and Everton battled it out. The first half of the match ended in a victory for Everton, and until the final whistle the fans were in suspense. Both teams failed to score any goals in the first half, resulting in a 0-0 scoreline. However, this did not mean that there was no action in the match: both teams showed their determination and skill from the first minutes. In the 28th minute, tensions rose when Everton's Jordan Pickford received a yellow card. West Ham's M. Kudus was also sent off in the same minute, emphasising the tension of the match. Both teams were determined to seize the advantage and break the deadlock. In the 51st minute the deadlock was finally broken and the crowd exploded with excitement. Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck a terrific goal to put his team ahead. The atmosphere in the stadium was transformed, Everton fans celebrated the victory of their team. In the 57th minute "West Ham", not wanting to give up without a fight, made the first substitution. M. Antonio came on as a substitute, replacing the goal scorer D. Calvert-Lewin.
It was a tactical move aimed at maintaining a strong attack and trying to equalise. As the minutes went by, the pressure on both teams grew. In the 69th minute, West Ham's L. Paquette received a yellow card, which further increased the tension in the match. Deciding to turn the tide of the match, in the 73rd minute West Ham made a second substitution, replacing T. Soucek with J. Ward-Prowse. However, despite several opportunities, West Ham failed to break forward. The disappointment of the players became evident when three more yellow cards were given to S. Benrahma in the 77th minute, E. Alvarez in the 83rd minute and A. Cresswell in the 86th minute. Everton made their first substitution in the final minutes of the game. In the 89th minute D. Calvert-Lewin was replaced by Chermiti. This substitution was designed to provide stability in the defence of Everton, which allowed to keep a small advantage. As a result, Everton won with a final score of 0:1. Both teams showed their skill and determination throughout the game, giving fans an exciting and competitive match. It was a tight Premier League battle at the London Stadium and fans are looking forward to the next round of matches.
