Famous Ukrainian TV presenter Igor Tsyganik has said that Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu is one step away from dismissal.
"For Dynamo, the match with Shakhtar will be a defining one. Even in the coaching staff of Kyivians there are already some doubts that the team will manage to reach some level. But Lucescu himself must realise whether he will be able to bring this team to a new level.
If Dynamo lose to Shakhtar, the changes in the head coach will be instantaneous. No one will continue to tolerate, everyone understands that the coach of the capital team will be changed in the summer anyway (Lucescu's contract with Dinamo runs until the end of the current season - editor's note). In case of a defeat against the Pitmen, Igor Surkis may immediately decide to dismiss Lucescu," Tsyganik said on FootballHub.
As for the possible successor of the current coach of the Bilo-Syni, at the moment Dynamo are not looking for a new coach, so in case of Mircea's dismissal his place will be taken by someone from the club's system.
Recall that in the last three matches Dynamo suffered two defeats (from Polesya, 2:3, and from Dnipro-1, 0:1) and once played a draw (with Kolos, 1:1). Lucescu's team will play a home game against Shakhtar next Friday.
