Head coach of Odessa "Chernomorets" Roman Grigorchuk, summarising the results of yesterday's match with "Zorya" (4:1) in the 1/4 finals of the Ukrainian Cup, commented on the fact that in this meeting his team's midfielder Orest Kuzyk three times went one-on-one with the Luhansk goalkeeper.

It's a common thing when players playing on the sidelines break into the penalty area. Attacking players should all act like that, and Kuzyk knows how to do it. And this is not the case when a player decided to just run in there. Here the head works like a "computer": you have to see everything, what and where it is happening and when to do this or that action.
And then, of course, you need to have speed. Without speed, nothing happens. Going one-on-one with teams like Zorya is not an easy thing. Especially when you play against an opponent who has a very high sum of speed. And this applies to Zorya, which is one of the best in our league. Therefore, in one-on-one exits there is a huge merit of the team, which was in attack. True, we do not manage to do it as often as we would like, but, thank God, we still get it," Grigorchuk said at a press conference after the match with Zorya.
