Igor Shukhovtsev, a well-known Ukrainian goalkeeper in the recent past, shared his prediction for the central match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian championship, in which Dynamo and Shakhtar will play in Kyiv today.
Igor Shukhovtsev- I think it will be an interesting match, as the Kyiv team has not been pleasing either themselves or the fans lately, " the specialist believes. - Taking into account that Dynamo hosts Shakhtar at home, its players will try to do their best to get back into the championship race. In Friday's match, as in any other, everything will be decided by the speed and skill of the players.
I favour Shakhtar. Despite the fact that the Donetsk club has been changing coaches more often, playing in European cups and playing in national teams, its players are more ready for the upcoming game. Both mentally and physically. That is why, in my opinion, Shakhtar look more favourable. Although I repeat: Dynamo will do everything for the victory over the Donetsk side. It is impossible to give a clear preference to any of the opponents, as the fight will be principled. I think that in the upcoming game everything will be decided by one goal.
- Matches of this level are always entrusted to experienced referees. Do you think that Yaroslav Kozyk, who was appointed to officiate the Ukrainian derby, will cope with his duties?
- On Friday we will see whether he will cope or not. I believe that he is ready for a match of this rank, knowing full well that it will bring together one of the favourites of the championship. In general, now in the UPL there are more contenders for the highest places than ever before: Kryvbas, Polesie, Dnipro-1, Shakhtar, Dynamo.... I, like all people in football Ukraine hope that the referee will do well and his officiating in the centre match will be professional. Although the pressure from the players of both teams will be present, as always.
