Newcastle head coach Eddie Gau commented on the 0-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stage match on Matchday 4.

The players gave so much on Saturday, so I have no doubt in them. I just think that the game against Borussia happened too quickly. After what the players have shown in recent weeks, maybe we could use an extra day of rest," Gau was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
