Arsenal's Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko cannot regain his place in the starting line-up.
The 26-year-old player was not in the starting line-up for yesterday's match of the 4th round of the Champions League group stage with Spanish Sevilla (2:0): the choice of Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta again fell on Zinchenko's rival for the position - Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Unlike the previous match against Sevilla, Zinchenko still appeared on the pitch this time, replacing the aforementioned Tomiyasu at half-time. The Ukrainian failed to distinguish himself with any effective actions, and at the same time he received a yellow card.
In the current season, Zinchenko took part in 15 Arsenal matches in all competitions. In 10 cases he was in the starting line-up, and five times he came on as a substitute.
