It's official. Diego Simeone has extended his contract with Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has extended his employment contract with the club.

According to the press service of the Matzos, the new agreement with the 53-year-old coach is valid until 30 June 2027. The Argentine coach has been leading Madrid since 2011.

Under Simeone's leadership, Atletico Madrid has twice won the Spanish league, the Europa League, the European Super Cup, and once the Copa del Rey and the Super Cup.
