It's no secret that Dynamo Kyiv wants to rely on its own players. Relying on young players requires a lot of patience and equally a lot of work on the part of the young players. This process is quite long and not easy.
There are a lot of talented players in Dynamo's youth team now. I am very impressed by the play of central midfielder Kyrylo Osypenko and winger Kyrylo Pashko. These are players born in 2006. But they are not yet ready for adult football. They need to gain muscle and experience. We need a result for the first team today. Pashko, Osypenko, Kalin, Dykyi and others are just a prospect.
It is not easy to work with legionnaires during the war. Not so long ago, Ihor Surkis said in an interview that Justin Lonwake had a very difficult time with rocket attacks. Opportunities and money are important, but safety comes first.
You can also look for players in Ukraine. There are times when the situation is such that you can sign quality players. I am very impressed with the play of Oleksiy Hutsulyak and Oleksandr Pikhalenko from Dnipro-1. Both are team leaders.
Oleksiy's contract is valid until the end of the season. In winter, he can sign a preliminary agreement with any club. Pikhalenko's deal is a year longer. Financially, Dnipro-1 is not doing well. There were reports in the media about wage arrears. The team moved from Uzhhorod to Dnipro to avoid spending extra money. The club's informal owner is going through a difficult time. Many say that the club will sell its top players to survive. Even Budivelnyk has given up on an international team that played in Europe and only plays in the Ukrainian championship.
Dynamo and Dnipro-1 have a good relationship. In the summer, Bohdan Lednev left Kyiv for Dnipro. The clubs agreed on everything very quickly and easily, although Zorya had been interested in the player for a long time. "Dynamo didn't demand any fabulous money. Previously, Dynamo players Nazariy Rusyn, Roman Vantukh, Serhiy Buletsa and Mykyta Kravchenko had played for the sports club on loan. It is possible to come to an agreement. It is not only about money, but also about the exchange of players.
Hutsulyak plays on the right flank of the midfield. He is left-footed, so he can play on the opposite side of the pitch. If necessary, he can play in attack. Despite being almost 26 years old, he managed to play in the UPL for Karpaty, Desna and Zorya. He was a leading player in each team. He is a footballer who is ready to produce results at the Ukrainian level right now in the long term - 2-4 seasons. At Dynamo, Vladyslav Kabayev hasn't been very good on the left wing, and after Andriy Yarmolenko's injury, the versatile Oleksandr Karavayev should play on the right. Another winger will be useful. For the depth of the squad, competition, rotation.
Pikhalonok is a central midfielder. A player who plays in the middle of the pitch. A Shakhtar product who turned out not to be needed by his home club due to the strong competition. Last season, it was the combination of Pikhalenko and Dovbyk that was the main strength of Oleksandr Kucher's team. To pass, to sharpen, to create - this is about Oleksandr.
Unfortunately, Mykola Shaparenko hasn't been able to regain his form. Now there is a lot of talk about his possible transfer in the summer. Vitalii Buyalskyi is already 30 years old. So far, he has no particular replacement or alternative. Volodymyr Shepelev and Oleksandr Andrievskyi are not very stable. Another player in the middle of the field would definitely be useful for Dynamo.
For both players, Dynamo is a great chance. It's definitely better than going to Karpaty (where Hutsulyak is being wooed), the Polish and Hungarian championships. They are adapted to Ukraine, they know everything. Plus, they will be visible to the coach of the Ukrainian national team.
