Ukrainian midfielder of Italian Empoli Viktor Kovalenko brought victory to his team in the Italian championship match over Napoli, scoring the only goal in extra time.

It is noteworthy that Kovalenko was initially left in the reserve team for the match against Napoli, but came on as a substitute in the 71st minute in place of Jacopo Fazzini.
In the first minute of the second half Kovalenko's miraculous strike brought his team an important victory, which allowed Empoli to climb out of the relegation zone.
Recall, for the Ukrainian this is the second goal in his career in Serie A. The first was scored in Spezia against Salernitana in 2021.
