Dynamo Kyiv defender Nazar Balaba, 18, will not help the Ukraine national team born in 2005 during the Euro 2025 (U-19) qualifiers in Malta.
Nazar BalabaBalaba was injured in the last match of the Ukrainian Youth Championship against Kryvbas U-19 and, accordingly, will not be able to help the Ukrainian national team in the first round of qualification. Instead, Ivan Yermachkov, a German legionnaire from Wuppertal, a club that plays in the youth Bundesliga, was called up to the youth team's camp.
The Dynamo defender is expected to miss a week and has a chance to play in the youth championship match against Rukh on 25 October.
In the first qualifying match for Euro 2025 (U-19), Oleg Kuznetsov's team beat Malta 3-1. Slovakia and Kosovo are also in the group. The two best teams will advance to the elite round.
