A well-known Ukrainian TV commentator Ihor Tsyganik, speaking at a session of the Kiev appeals court, called for the release of businessman and former Dnipro owner Ihor Kolomoyskyy from the detention centre and acted as a guarantor of his presence in court.

I have all his contacts, I know where he lives, I have his mobile phone. I am ready to ensure his appearance in court at the first demand. He, like all of us, will co-operate with the investigation," Tsyganbk said.
However, the court did not change the measure of restraint in relation to Kolomoisky - he will be in the detention centre until at least 2 January 2024.
