UEFA has decided to reduce the bids of national teams at the European Championship-2024 to 23 players, Sky Sports reports.
Recall, this is the number of players participants of the European Championships declared until 2020, but because of the so-called pandemic coronavirus this norm was changed: at Euro 2020 and the World Cup-2022 applications of national teams were increased to 26 players.
Recall, the European Championship-2024 will be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July next year. The draw for the tournament will be held on 2 December 2023 in Hamburg.
