The popular English publication FourFourTwo has published its version of the ranking of the world's 100 best coaches. Valeriy Lobanovskiy, the coach of Dynamo Kyiv, was placed on the tenth place.

These are not all the achievements of the Kyiv resident. The teams led by him won the title of champions 8 times and six times became the owners of the Cup of the former USSR, five times under his leadership Dynamo won the "gold" of the championship of independent Ukraine and three times became the owners of the national Cup.

Valeriy Lobanovskiy's charges in the national team won "silver" of the European Championship (1988), "bronze" of the Olympic Games (1976), and with Dynamo he won the Cup Winners' Cup twice (1975 and 1986) and the UEFA Super Cup (1975).

Two more Dynamo coaches made it to the list of the 100 best. Viktor Aleksandrovich Maslov, under whose leadership the Kyiv team won the gold medals of the former USSR champions (1966-1968) and two National Cups (1964, 1966), took the 34th place in the rating. And Romanian Mircea Lucescu, who recently resigned as head coach of the Bilo-Syni, is in 87th position. In the season 2020/2021 he won the championship, Cup and Super Cup of Ukraine with Dynamo.
