Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine defender Valeriy Bondar commented on the national team's preparations for the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy.

But, of course, on the other hand, we think about how cold it is for our guys at the front, and we want to help them. And we can help them with positive emotions, which we really want to provide on Monday, the 20th. We will do everything to make our soldiers happy. But we are also a little cold, our feet are freezing, but we are getting used to it. It's a tough field, of course, but what can you do? It's all right.
Now we need to recall a little bit of the work we did before and prepare for the match against Italy. The coaching staff still needs to show us the tactics, explain how we will act, prove all the points they want to see from us. So now we are working on this.
I have very positive emotions from working with Serhii Rebrov. It's interesting because every coach has his own style. You have to take the best from everyone and become more developed in all aspects every day. It's a good coaching staff.
