The British publication FourFourTwo has ranked the best forwards of the last decade of the 20th century.
Andriy Shevchenko is ranked 19th in the ranking.
"Andriy Shevchenko finished the 90s at AC Milan, but it was with Dynamo that Ukraine's best player first made his mark in European competition. After scoring an impressive 39 goals in 41 matches in the 1997/98 season, Shevchenko scored another 33 in the 1998/99 campaign, when Dynamo reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. His performances prompted AC Milan to break their transfer record in 1999," Shevchenko was described.
