Shakhtar's 23-year-old centre-back Vitao, who has been playing for Internacional on loan since April 2022, is preparing to complete his final departure from the Donetsk club.
VitaoAccording to the Antenados no Futebol portal, which cites journalist Lucas Kollar, Internacional has started negotiations with Vitao to sign a preliminary contract, which will allow the Brazilian club to acquire the player as a free agent in the summer of 2024, when the defender's contract with Shakhtar expires. In addition to Internacional, there are also other bidders for Vitao from outside Brazil.
As a reminder, Shakhtar bought Vitao from Palmeiras in September 2019 for €4 million. The defender managed to play 36 matches for the Miners (1 assist), while he has already played 88 matches (2 goals) for Internacional.
