The Ukraine national team, which continues to fight for direct access to the final part of Euro 2024, received a "safety cushion" a day before the decisive match against Italy.

For the Ukraine national team everything was decided today in Group G. We had to make sure that Serbia, who were in line for the playoffs, got a direct ticket to the Euros.
As a result, two matches of the group ended with the results we needed: Hungary vs Montenegro - 3:1 and Serbia vs Bulgaria - 2:2. The Hungarians and the Serbs took the two passing places.
Accordingly, the four representatives of Division B of the League of Nations for participation in the play-offs of the Euro 2024 selection has received at the moment the following form: Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Ukraine.
