Barcelona and Spain midfielder Xavi has injured the cruciate ligament of his knee and meniscus, the Catalan club's press service reports.
It is noted that the 19-year-old midfielder will undergo surgery in the near future. It will be recalled that Xavi was injured in the 2024 European Championship qualifying match between Spain and Georgia (3-1). The Barcelona midfielder was forced to leave the field in the 26th minute of the match. This season, Xavi has played 15 matches for the Blue and Gold, 13 of them in the starting line-up.
