"Bayern wants to invite Tomiyasa in winter

"Bayern Munich are interested in acquiring Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu in the winter transfer window.

According to the Daily Mirror, Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel wants to see the 25-year-old in his team. The coach likes the Japanese player's versatility.

Since his move from Bologna in 2021, Tomiyasu has mainly played as a right-back for the Gunners, but Takehiro is also capable of playing on the left and in the centre of defence.

It will be recalled that Tomiyasu's current contract with Arsenal runs until June 2025.
