Today has given the world several famous people who have closely linked their lives with football:
Igor Surkis (1958) - Ukrainian businessman and public figure. Since 2002 he has been the president of Dynamo football club (Kyiv). Full Knight of the Order of Merit (I degree (2006), II degree (2004), III degree (2003)). Winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of architecture (2002) (for the architectural plan of the complex of Dynamo training base on Stolichnoye Shosse, 45 in Kyiv).
Gyemercy Mbokani (1985) - former Dynamo Kyiv forward. Before joining Kyiv, he defended the colours of Anderlecht. He was recognised as the best footballer of the Belgian championship in the season 2012/13. In the national team he played 37 matches and scored 20 goals.
Radomir Antic (1948-2020) - famous Serbian footballer and coach. It is worth noting that Antic is the only coach in history to have led Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at different times.
Nevio Scala (1947) is a famous Italian footballer and coach. He coached such clubs as Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar Donetsk, Spartak Moscow, and Besiktas Istanbul. In 2015, he became president of Parma Football Club, which went bankrupt and had to start out in the amateur Serie D league.
Torsten Frings (1976) is a former German footballer who played as a supporting midfielder. He played for numerous German clubs. Frings' last club was Toronto FC of MLS. As a member of the German national team, he won silver medals at the World and European Championships in 2002 and 2008 respectively.
