Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has expressed his opinion on the scandalous episode at the end of the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Ukraine and Italy.
Aurelio De Laurentiis"Nobody wants to see a team robbed the way Ukraine was robbed by Italy. The Ukrainians definitely should have got a penalty. The Italians played well, better than most times I've watched. They deserved to qualify. Ukraine was motivated by the war, they had a dream, but it didn't materialise. Again, if things had been easy, it wouldn't have been a dream," De Laurentiis said in comments to Football Italia.
