Midfielder of Zhytomyr Polesya Artem Kozak shared his expectations from the game of the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Artem Kozak- I think it is special, because everyone is used to talk about the grands. In every match it's as if we play with the grandees. And "Polesie" is some kind of underdog. I generally like it when we are underestimated. It's great. I go with a good mood in the bus and think about the game. It's great when we're considered underdogs.
I'd single out the change of coach, the new pattern. Plus, they have the European Cup. Also, I think, they have some objectives. Of course, we should not forget about the championship. You can see how tight the standings are now. The gap is minimal and every team is fighting for the best places. So I think it will be a very interesting match. Both for them and for us. I think we will be pleasantly surprised, I hope so.
You can judge by one game, and someone can judge by the picture as the season progresses. But in any case, from the game with Shakhtar, with Dynamo, which are considered grand, people will be repelled and talk about the team. It is important in terms of image in Ukraine. It does not matter what you have done all season, but if you beat Dynamo or Shakhtar, you are a hero," Kozak said.
