Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has spoken about the condition of midfielder Sandro Tonali, who received a 10-month ban for betting.

"Sandro is training really well, so it's a shame we can't use him. This is probably his best training we have seen. He's handling the situation very well, I would say it's a great character trait," journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Gau as saying on social media site X.
