Yesterday, in the match of the 25th round of the championship Pakhtakor defeated Surkhan (2:0) and a round before the end of the championship became out of reach for the second place Nasaf.

Tournament position of the leaders of the championship of Uzbekistan for the round before its end:

1. "Pakhtakor" - 53 points
2. "Nasaf" - 47
3. "Nafbahor" - 46

It should be noted that under Shatskikh's leadership Pakhtakor became the champion of Uzbekistan for the second time in a row. In its history, the club has already won its 16th title, which is a national record. Neftchi from Fergana and Bunyodkor, who have won gold five times each, share the second highest number of championships.

Recall, Shatskikh was appointed head coach of Pakhtakor in the summer of 2022. The 45-year-old specialist then signed a three-year contract with the club.
