Tashkent's Pakhtakor, whose head coach is former Dynamo Kyiv striker Maksym Shatskikh, has secured the title of Uzbekistan's championship for the 2023 season (the tournament is held under the spring-autumn system).

Yesterday, in the match of the 25th round of the championship Pakhtakor defeated Surkhan (2:0) and a round before the end of the championship became out of reach for the second place Nasaf.

It should be noted that under Shatskikh's leadership Pakhtakor became the champion of Uzbekistan for the second time in a row.
