Kryvbas head coach Yuriy Vernydub shared his impressions of the current season's Ukrainian championship.
"You know, we are currently playing at a time when the interest in football is not the same as usual. There is a war going on. Football is played in difficult conditions. You hear sirens, then you play again. But this year's championship is interesting because we are competing against the giants: "Shakhtar and Dynamo, teams such as Dnipro-1, Polissya, Kryvbas, Rukh are also competing. Teams that have just entered the UPL. I expect the second round to be even more interesting. God willing.
Every coach wants to be a champion, and I am no exception. But I understand that there are many other teams that are difficult to compete with. But we are in this fight. After 15 rounds, we have returned to the first place. We will do everything to take the place that will allow us to play in European competitions," Vernydub's words were quoted by Kryvbas' official website.
