Italy's Genoa head coach Alberto Gilardino has revealed that he is satisfied with the game his team's Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi is currently showing.
"We hope that Malinovskyi will be able to show more. We expect that from him. These are my requirements. He has to show his qualities in certain areas of the pitch, as well as in standard positions. We need his true qualities and impact. We are counting on him," said Gilardino during his regular press conference.
Recall, Malinovsky moved to Genoa in mid-August on loan from French side Marseille. Since then, the midfielder took part in 11 matches of his new team (seven appearances in the starting line-up, four substitute appearances), gave two assists and received four yellow cards.
