This weekend are the matches of the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24. In one of them on Sunday, 26 November, Dynamo Kyiv and Rukh met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

"Rukh" tried to take control of the ball in the opening of the game and Lviv team managed to do it quite well. Only Dynamo tried to act extremely attentively, pressed the opponent in his half of the field, and on the 6th minute it brought the result: Tymchik instantly reacted to an unsuccessful goal kick by Gereta, intercepted the ball, approached the penalty area and hit a powerful shot into the near corner of Rukh's goal - 1:0.
Having conceded a goal, the guests not only continued to possess the ball, but also shifted the game to Dynamo's half of the pitch. And on the 12th minute of the game Lvivians could equalise the score: at the second pass to the penalty area of the Bilo-Syni after a corner kick the ball was right in the feet of Sliubyk, who was in the goalkeeper's box, but he did not dare to make a shot, and the ball was taken unsuccessfully and immediately became Buschan's prey.
Later on, Rukh continued to possess a very tangible advantage, forcing Dynamo to almost continuously engage in defensive actions. But the guests did not bring the actual sharpness to Buschan's goal. Only on the 34th minute of the match Lvivians created the next goal moment: after a corner kick Didyk won a positional struggle with opponents in the Dynamo penalty area, unhindered struck a header from eight metres, but missed the target - the ball flew near the far post.
Well, Ruh failed to achieve more in the first half. But Dynamo managed to build on their success shortly before the half-time whistle. And again after an unsuccessful game of the Lviv team goalkeeper: the latter, kicking the ball away from the goal, gave it actually in the struggle, which was won by the opponent Kabaev and, breaking into the penalty area, hit the guests' goal with a spectacular rounding shot - 2:0.
The second half was not enough for "Rukh". It is hard to say how morally, but physically - for sure: there was no trace of the Lvivians' former intensity and their continuous pressing. As a result, with the resumption of the game Dynamo took full advantage. But only Kyivians did not create any chances at the guests' goal. In this segment of the match we can only mention Kabaev's shot, which was confidently handled by Gereta.
And closer to the 70th minute of the match Dynamo got tired. The guests started to cling to the ball more often, and then counterattacks appeared in their performance. However, the spectacularity of the game itself dropped significantly. It began to pass confusedly and with a lot of stops. There was no talk of sharpness at all. However, two moments that occurred at the very end of the game should not be overlooked. In the 84th minute of the match Vanat took the game on himself, broke into the penalty area and dared to shoot from almost zero angle, and the ball almost hit the far post. And in the 89th minute of the match the same Vanat struck a powerful shot from the right side of the penalty area, and in this case "Ruh" was saved by Geret. Two good chances, but no goals in the second half - 2-0 victory for Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team.
After the played matches Dynamo has 22 points in its asset and occupies the 6th place in the championship standings, 8 points behind the leading Kryvbas, but having three matches in reserve.
In the next round Dynamo will have a guest match with Minay. This meeting will take place next Sunday, 3 December, in Minai at the stadium "Minai" (kick-off - at 13:00).
