Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has praised the defensive performance of London's Arsenal in the current Premier League season.
"Arsenal currently have the fewest goals conceded in the Premier League. Declan Rice is playing his role perfectly in front of the centre-backs. This triangle will be key for them in the future. It will help them succeed.
To win anything, you have to have a pair of centre-backs you can trust. They are the reason why I put them above Liverpool in the title race and they are the ones who can challenge City this year," Ferdinand was quoted as saying by Football London.
After 13 rounds of the English Championship, Mikel Arteta's men are at the top of the standings with 30 points.
