Ukrainian midfielder Denys Kozhanov expressed his opinion on the work of Mircea Lucescu at Dynamo Kyiv.
Denis Kozhanov- Lucescu, under whose leadership you worked at Shakhtar, has recently resigned as head coach of Dynamo and Ukrainian football in general. In your opinion, was this a justified decision?
- In my opinion, it should have been done earlier. I consider Lucescu to be a well-deserved coach who should have left on a major note. Ideally, if he had won another trophy. Apparently, the Mister delayed it a bit.
- Did Lucescu's arrival at Dynamo justify itself at all?
- I think so. He proved that he can work with Ukrainian players, although many people said the opposite. The team won the league and the Ukrainian Cup with him in his first season.
