Former Ukrainian national footballer Oleksandr Kucher recalled how he did not play for the national team at Euro 2012, which took place in Ukraine and Poland.

"Well, yes, of course, I wanted to play. Especially when the matches in 2012 took place in Ukraine. It was unpleasant to play at the Donbass Arena and not make it out, of course. I played only the last game, when nothing was decided. We also lost to the Poles. We wanted to win, of course," Kucher toldUV.
It will be recalled that Oleg Blokhin led the national team twice: 2003-2007 and 2011-2012.
