Former Barcelona player Dani Alves, who is currently in custody, is ready to pay financial compensation to his victim to mitigate his sentence, Mundo Deportivo reports.
According to the source, the lawyer convinced the footballer to pay compensation to his victim. The amount of compensation will be 150 thousand euros. This will allow Dani Alves to reduce his sentence.
As a reminder, Dani Alves is suspected of raping a 23-year-old girl in a Barcelona club. The footballer initially gave false testimony, but later admitted that he had sexual relations with the girl. At the moment, Alves is facing 8 to 10 years in prison.
