French club Lyon has announced on its official website that Fabio Grosso has been dismissed as the team's head coach.
Fabio Grosso, Getty ImagesThe Italian coach took over the Weavers in mid-September 2023. Pierre Sage, director of the team's youth academy, was appointed acting coach after the 46-year-old specialist.
Under Grosso's leadership, Lyon played seven matches, winning one and drawing two. After 12 rounds of Ligue 1, the Weavers are last in the standings with 7 points.
