On 7 December, the draw for the elite qualifying round of Euro 2024 among boys under 19 will take place, in which the national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2005) will take part. The ceremony starts at 11:30 Kyiv time.
It will be recalled that Oleg Kuznetsov's wards took first place in their group of the qualifying round. Before the draw of the elite round of selection, the blue and yellows were in the second basket.
In the elite round, the 27 teams that have advanced from the qualifying round will join top-seeded Portugal, who will enter the competition at this stage. The matches will take place on 18-26 March 2024.
The winners of the elite round groups will join the hosts, Northern Ireland, in the final stage, which will take place on 15-28 July 2024 and will be the UEFA qualifier for the 2025 U-20 World Cup.
The draw procedure for the Euro 2024 U-19 elite round
The 28 associations participating in the elite round are divided into four baskets according to the results of the qualifying round in accordance with their positions and statistics.
The winners of the qualifying round groups cannot meet the teams that came second in the same groups.
Each group will have one team from each seeding basket. The hosts of the mini-tournaments to be held in the spring will be determined separately.
The winners of the seven groups will advance to the final stage, where the tournament hosts will be waiting for them.

Basket A: Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey, Turkey.
Basket B: Israel, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria, Ukraine.
Basket C: Kosovo, Croatia, North Macedonia, France, Serbia, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Basket D: Romania, Slovenia, Italy, Montenegro, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece.
