At the European Championship-2024 will use a ball from adidas, equipped with innovative technology, which will allow to automatically fix the game hand, reports The Times.
According to the newspaper, such technology will be realised by a microchip embedded in the ball - it will be able to determine whether the game was played with the hand. In addition, this microchip will record the exact time of impact on the ball, and this will already help referees in determining offside.
Recall, the final part of Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024.
