The African Football Confederation has named three contenders for the title of the continent's best player in 2023

The press service of the African Football Confederation (CAF) has announced the names of three players who are in the running for the title of the continent's best player in 2023. The award ceremony will take place on 11 December.

Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, Napoli's Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and Paris Saint-Germain's Moroccan defender Ashraf Hakimi are in the running for the award.
