Saudi Arabia's Al Nasr and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo became the only player in the world to reach the 1,200-match mark in his career.
English goalkeeper Peter Shilton (1375 matches) is in first place in the top 5, followed by goalkeepers Paul Bestock (1286), Rogerio Seni (1237) and Fabio Lopez (1212). The Portuguese Ronaldo rounds out the top five.
Ronaldo is a graduate of Sporting Lisbon, from where he later moved to Manchester United under the leadership of Alex Ferguson. Cristiano then played for Real Madrid, Juventus, and again for the Red Devils before joining Al Nasr in January 2023.
