Former Karpaty Lviv player Simon Vukcevic was arrested while trying to cross the border between Serbia and Montenegro, the Serbian edition of Kurir reported.

A pistol and 126 bullets were found in his car. On suspicion of committing a criminal offence under the law on weapons, Vukcevic was placed in custody for up to 30 days.

The 37-year-old Montenegrin finished his professional career back in the spring of 2018. Simon spent a very minor part of his career at Karpaty, being at the club for 5 months. During this time, he managed to play only 2 matches for the Lviv team.
