Benfica goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin reacted to the incident that took place after the team's 1-1 home match against Farense in the 13th round of the Portuguese championship.
Dissatisfied with the result, the Lisbon club's fans booed and threw various objects at head coach Roger Schmidt.
"We always fight for the best for the team, so yesterday we left the game unhappy. At such moments, it is important to gather ourselves, react with dedication and perseverance and continue to work. I am very grateful to the fans. At this moment, we must be united as never before," Trubin wrote on Instagram.
